Overview

Sophisticated, Silent and Economical

Mitsubishi Electric’s split zoning systems are ideal for cooling or heating uncomfortable rooms in a home or as supplemental cooling or heating systems. With only three main components – an indoor unit, an outdoor unit and a controller – installation is as simple as mounting the units, connecting the refrigerant lines and making a few electrical connections.

Efficiency

Consistently perform at 25% higher efficiency than traditional systems

While traditional systems waste energy by cycling off and on to achieve desired set point, Mitsubishi Electric’s innovative INVERTER technology varies the compressor speed according to the cooling or heating load of a room. High rotation compressor speeds cools a room quickly. Lower compressor speeds use less energy and save money.

All Mitsubishi systems meet or exceed industry-standard requirement of 13 SEER for efficiency. Systems deliver up to 26 SEER as a result of a powerful magnet rotor in the compressor that allows for lower current input.

Safety

Multiple Filters for Cleaner, Healthier Air

Mitsubishi Electric indoor units use a sophisticated multi-part filter system to remove contaminants such as allergens, viruses and bacteria from the air.

A hybrid catechin pre-filter absorbs odor-causing gases. The hybrid-coating process makes the catechin filter washable and – if properly maintained with regular cleaning— remains effective for up to 10 years.

Quite Operation

Ultra quiet operation during the day and even quieter at night.

Mitsubishi residential systems features some of the quietest units in the industry, operating at a noise level of as low as 19 dB. To put that into perspective, consider that background noise in a library is 30dB. The introduction of an uneven fan-blade pitch and a remote-controlled vane add further significant reductions to air resistance as well.
